Ladies and gentleman, this post is opinionated. I am daring you all to read because this is mind blowing. This is purely in my own opinion and you are free to beat me up to death. Let's start with telling you that I don't see anything wrong with the video. Having said nothing is wrong, I mean let's get real. We are already in the what century? Let us try to at the least wake up! Our world is no longer a daydream, nor is this a nightmare. This is why we shouldn't be sleeping. Hence, we need to WAKE UP!
Last Thursday, if I am not mistaken, the ABS CBN talent and rising child actress Andrea Brillantes' alleged scandalous video was circulating in all social media platforms with some netizend searching for the video. Though I know that there are a lot of pedophiles nowadays which made me not surprised about it. I have heard worse and so, I didn't really care. To those who didn't know who the victim is; Anndrew Blythe Daguio Goroztiza, Andrea’s real and full name whose 12 year-old started as a main cast of “Going Bulilit”, Philippine TV’s longest running kiddie variety show aired by ABS-CBN. She became more famous for starring a 2013 primetime soap opera entitled “Annaliza”.
ABS-CBN continued to build-up its “Precious Gem” by giving Brillantes a secondary role, as Daniel Padilla’s younger sister in “Pangako Sa’yo” re-make starred by the younger Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. Report also said that ABS-CBN talent manager and employee posted on a female site forum claiming that she has a 12 year-old 'Going Bulilit' talent who has a scandal. The alleged talent manager however, didn’t drop any name for security purpose. The video was purportedly taped by the young actress herself showing her private parts. Although, copy had been removed on major video uploading sites as of press time. But, there’s a big possibility that some netizens were already able to save copies of the scandal for personal intentions or worse, for malicious dissemination. On Friday morning, 'Andrea Brillantes' became the no. 1 trending topic in the microblogging site Twitter.
Moreover, the #Nung12Ako did trend too. People nowadays really have nothing good to do aside from nosing with other people's business. The fans of the victim-actress, Andrea Brillantes who cried for support and respect flooded the Social Media. And I am telling you, I am one of them. Wait! Don't get me wrong though. No, I am not a fan of Andrea Brillantes but, I am one of those who is wishing for the people to respect Andrea and her family.
I believe that she is not to be blamed about such incident. She may have done it but, who cares? She maybe a public figure, and so? Come on! Let us not be hypocrites. I know for a fact that A LOT have been doing such malicious act as well. Some have even done worse. And you have already said yourselves, she is just 12. Yes, she is just 12 and she doesn't deserve your judgments. Hence, she deserves proper guidance and your understanding. Let's all pray for Andrea and respect the 12 year old child actress even if the accusation is whether true or not. She's just a minor for Pete's sake! Don't be proud of being a pedophile,you should be ashamed of yourselves. Get lost, people!
I am one of you. It is normal because she is on the stage of curiosity or what we call puberty and we all went through that.

ReplyDeleteI hear you and agree with majority of what you said but I wish that you omitted her full name in your post. The kid has suffered enough, and adding her entire name does no good at all. I understand that it's 2015 and that if one wanted to they could research her on the net, but don't make it easier for them.

ReplyDeleteIn family psychiatric sa mga batang inaabuso gumagamit ng drawing o manika sa pamamagitan non, don nakikita ang ginawa sa knla at sa mga school age na naabuso makikita mo sa kanila ang paghawak sa kanilang ari. Sana mabigyan xa ng aksyon. Dahil bata pa xa.
Was it necessary to write her complete full name? U just exposed her more. I actually don't know much about her cause I only watched her a few times and couldnt even remember where, but now I know. Just saying.

ReplyDeleteMas mabuti na may kumalat na video dahil at least sigurado na tyo na sa edad nya na 12 marerealize nya na mali ung ginawa nya ar di na nya gagawin pa yan ulit. Medyo in a harsh way nya natutunan ang leksyon sa likod ng mga pangyayari pero ang mahalaga natutunan nya at ipupusta ko sa inyo di na nya uulitin yan until nasa tamang edad n sya.

ReplyDeleteIm into your side with your proposition. There's nothing wrong woth the video. Almost all of the people i know went through that stage. What's wrong is she did not receive proper guidance from people around her specially her parents. The video depicts pure curiosity ate her age. Hence, we shouldnt be so judgemental about it. Instead of dropping down negative feedbacks , shoout it out in all social media platforms, and curse her because of her innocence, why don't just keep everything to ourselves , try to understand what she' s going trough. Being a subject of public ridicule is not a joke. You could cause trauma to her, that hope not, if she cant handle it anymore, she might end her life. I wish people to be more wary of what they will say about the scandal. Because if it something that happened to your younger sister, would you do the same act of insensitiveness?
