Nurses being labeled as "Walang Halaga" is always trending. I mean, they've been labeled worse and I think after readin this article you might just agree with me.
To set the records straight, I don't hold grudges on them. It's just that this is too shocking! This is too absurd! This is way impossible! This is inhumane!
I was too bored and was just scrolling my News Feed. I was about to give up and should sleep when a photo caught my attention. Wait! Let me correct it, PHOTOS! Yes, photos of an old man with blood in his mouth. Can you imagine? Who wouldn't stop what he/she is doing and spare his/her time reading an article about it.
This article is not to gain people's attention. Hence, this article is to let people know how a nurse neglected an old man though he's succumbing the pain. Goodness! This is really impossible!
It all started when an old man in a bad condition was brought to the Emergency Room of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital located at Trece Martires City, Cavite. An OS for blood was given to him but it's not enough, the man was left by the nurse sitting but still continuously throwing up blood.
Nenet Leaban Gonzales, the concern citizen who noticed that the man haven't got enough attention inside the hospital which obviously needs help and assistance.
The people around this awful man started complaining, she started capturing some photos of the scene which caught the attention of the nurses who immediately took care of the man.
I've read a post in FB from Nenet Leaban Gonzales (the woman who took the photos), and I quote:
Nakakaawa si tatay kanina sa GEAMH, Trece Martires City, Cavite... Dumating siya sa ER Dept na may kasama daw na taga disaster... tapos pinaupo naman. at walang tigil yung pagdurugo ng bibig nya. binigyan ng OS para sa dugo pero di pa rin naampat. Napansin ko lang... sobrang tagal bago siya ulit mapansin ng mga tao don. at halos magkanda reklamo na ang nasa paligid ng ER. Kundi pa narinig na maawa naman kayo kay tatay at baka maubusan ng dugo kasi continues at tinutukan ko na nang camera saka lang isa isang lumapit. At saka nagtanong sa kanya. Nakaka awa kapag kita mo nakang emergency na pero para lang hangin. Alam kong toxic sila pero marami pa ring nurses ang di naman ganun ka busy that time at sa kalagayan nya, imposibleng magwawalang bahala ka lang. Di ko nilalahat pero mostly ay walang lumapit sa kanya.
Huwag naman sana tayo ganyan lalo pa at Seniors. Yung pulis na nasa picture ay tumulong a kay tatay kasi pilit na natayo at kaya napansin dahil humingi siya ng tulong na mapansin si tatay.

I don't know why the person who took the photo posted this on FB but, I'm glad she did. And, I quote:

Di ko rin po sinabing dahil lang sa akin kaya siya inasikaso at nakauwi na nang ligtas. Malinaw na maliaw po may nagsalita di lang ako at ako ang nagpicture don may lumapit at nagasikaso na sa kanya. Blood donor din po ako jan sa GEAMH kung yan ang gusto nyo malaman. Marunong naman po ako umintindi. At di ako naghahabol ng kung anuman para mapansin lang. Nakita ko ang bagay na nangyari at di naman ako nag imbento lang ng kwento. Ang sa akin lang ay ginagawa ko ang sa tingin ko ay tama. At di lang po ako ang may reklamo. Isa lang ako sa nakakita ng nangyayari sa loob that time. Kung nagagalit kayo sa ginawa ko... just let me know at di yung pagbubulungan pa... Ang mga nagrereklamo tyak na haharap din at patunayan na hindi lang ako ang nakaranas ng ganoong sitwasyon. Yung iba mismong mga kaanak pa at ang iba mismong sila ang napabayaan. Malinaw din po ang sabi ko... DI KO NILALAHAT! kasi alam ko namang toxic kayo that time."

Once again, I don't hold any grudges. But, I just think that neglecting this old man is really inhumane. This is really impossible. Given the fact that your job is to save people's lives and not to let them die. #JustSaying
